Hi,

I am a freelance journalist and I'm currently writing a feature about creativity and synaesthesia. I was wondering if anyone who contributes to the blog would be interested in talking to me briefly about their own experiences?

I am a synaesthete myself, so understand the condition (as much as I am able!) and don't mind conducting the interview via phone or email.

Thank you,
Alice

Hello Alice,

Great you're doing your article--just in case it is useful in your research, here is an excerpt from my book, "Blue Cats and Chartreuse Kittens: how Synesthetes color their worlds:

As for connection between synesthesia & creativity--I am a writer--and feel that my alphabet landscape gives me a place to "go" when I think and write
Good luck with the article--Patricia
